About Adel
Adel Gönczi is a Partner in McInnes Cooper's Moncton office, advising clients across New Brunswick and Atlantic Canada on corporate financings, secured lending, and commercial real estate transactions. She represents financial institutions and private lenders through the financing lifecycle, including drafting and negotiating loan, security, and intercreditor documentation, structuring collateral, overseeing due diligence, and leading complex closings involving multiple borrowers and guarantors. Adel also advises institutional clients, utilities, and developers on the real property aspects of major energy and natural resources infrastructure projects, including land acquisition and title due diligence. She is President of the Board of Directors for Expansion Dieppe and sits on the Law Society of New Brunswick's Articling Committee. Adel earned her LL.B. cum laude from the University of Ottawa in 2008 and was called to the New Brunswick bar in 2009. She speaks English, French, and Hungarian.
