About Juela
Juela Xhaferraj is an associate lawyer at Branch MacMaster LLP focused on class actions and general civil litigation. Before joining the firm in 2026, she worked at leading Toronto litigation firms specializing in plaintiff-side class actions and insurance law, including matters involving institutional abuse, Crown liability, constitutional law, securities, and consumer protection, plus subrogation and insurance defence work. Juela has represented clients at all levels of court in Ontario, including Small Claims Court, Superior Court, Divisional Court, and the Court of Appeal. She earned her JD from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2020 and a BA from the University of Toronto in 2016, and was admitted to the Ontario bar in 2021.
