About Avichay
Avichay Sharon joined Branch MacMaster LLP as an associate in September 2017 and has a broad civil litigation practice focused on class actions, health law, and administrative law, including representing regulators and professionals in regulatory proceedings, with a particular interest in constitutional law and Charter litigation. He has appeared before all levels of court in BC, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec and the Supreme Court of Canada. Before joining the firm, Avichay clerked for six justices of the BC Supreme Court and worked for Israeli and Canadian NGOs on international humanitarian and human rights law. He earned his BCL/LLB from McGill University's Faculty of Law in 2015, receiving the J.S.D. Tory Writing Award, and a BA in Philosophy from Hebrew University, Jerusalem in 2011, and was called to the British Columbia and Ontario bars in 2017.
