About Leah

Leah McGurn is an associate in Osler's Intellectual Property group. Leah draws on a scientific background to assist clients with patent dispute matters, including representing generic pharmaceutical companies in litigation before the Federal Court under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations. Leah also prepares infringement, validity and freedom-to-operate opinions, with a particular focus on pharmaceutical patents. Leah holds a J.D. from the University of Toronto, a Master of Science from the University of Saskatchewan, and a Bachelor of Science with Honours from the University of Guelph.
