About David

David Christian is a partner at Thorsteinssons, Tax Lawyers, based in Vancouver. A graduate of Simon Fraser University and the University of British Columbia's law school, his practice covers all areas of taxation, with a particular focus on corporate reorganizations and the taxation of owner-managed businesses. He spent eight years as an adjunct professor of corporate tax law at Allard Hall, UBC's law school, and for many years contributed to the tax materials used in British Columbia's Professional Legal Training Course. David has lectured on tax matters at conferences sponsored by organizations including the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Conference for Advance Life Underwriting, the Pacific Business and Law Institute, and the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia, as well as at various accounting, medical and bar associations.
