About Mihai
Mihai Ionescu represents public and private companies, underwriters, and agents across industrial technology, natural resources, energy, retail, and financial services sectors, with over 20 years of solicitor practice focused on corporate finance, securities law, and commercial transactions. His experience includes public offerings, private placements, reverse takeovers, management buyouts, proxy contests, takeover bids, debt financing, secured lending, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance advisory work. He holds an LL.M. in Securities Law (2008) and an LL.B. (2003), both from Osgoode Hall Law School, along with an International, Comparative and Transnational Law Program Certificate from Osgoode (2003) and a B.Sc. (Hons.) from the University of Alberta (2000). He was called to the bar in Alberta in 2004 and British Columbia in 2006.
