About Christopher

Christopher Rhone brings over 20 years of civil litigation experience to the defence of clients in class actions, insurance coverage disputes, construction defects, and serious personal injury claims. He has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada and all levels of provincial superior courts and administrative tribunals, and assisted a leading Canadian insurer through BC's 'leaky condo' crisis, attending over 100 mediations. Christopher regularly provides insurance coverage opinions to insurers and is a supporter of the BCSPCA, acting in animal cruelty matters before tribunals and courts. Before being admitted to the practice of law, he completed a judicial law clerkship with the BC Court of Appeal. He is called to the bar in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, the Northwest Territories, and the Yukon. Christopher earned his LLB through a joint Edinburgh University / University of Victoria program and a BSc (Hons) in Biology from the University of Western Ontario, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2001. He is recognized by Best Lawyers in insurance and class action litigation and by Benchmark Litigation Canada as a Litigation Star.
