About Jonathan

Jonathan H. Ashtor is a partner in Paul, Weiss's Intellectual Property & Technology Transactions Group and Co-Chair of the firm's Global Artificial Intelligence Group, based in New York. His practice covers technology M&A, IP licensing, technology development and collaboration agreements, AI services and hosting agreements, and technology dispute resolution. He has worked on major, multi-jurisdictional transactions including public company mergers, private equity and venture-backed deals, spinoffs, and joint ventures, advising clients across computer and semiconductor technology, life sciences and biotech, e-commerce and media, and manufacturing sectors. Jonathan earned his JD magna cum laude from Northwestern University School of Law and his BS with honors from the University of Toronto, and he is admitted to practice in New York and Massachusetts as well as before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He has been recognized by Chambers USA, IAM Strategy 300, Lawdragon, and Bloomberg Law, among others, for his technology and IP work.
