About Antonia

Antonia Apps is a partner at Paul, Weiss and Co-Chair of the Litigation Department in New York. She is a former senior SEC official and federal prosecutor, and spent 20 years in private practice representing Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, asset managers and private equity firms in civil, regulatory and criminal matters. She has tried 19 cases and argued numerous federal appeals, and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. At the SEC she led the New York regional office from 2023 to 2025 before being named Acting Deputy Director and then Deputy Director of Enforcement, overseeing offices in New York, Boston, Chicago and Philadelphia. Her matters have included representing BlackRock, Infinity Q Capital Management, and the audit committees of Ginkgo Bioworks and American Renal Associates Holdings. She holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, a BCL from Oxford's Magdalen College, and an LL.B. from the University of Sydney.
