About Allan
Allan Oziel founded Oziel Law in 2012 after working in large-firm private practice and serving as corporate counsel for a public financial institution. His practice covers business, transactional, technology, and intellectual property law for clients ranging from startups to growth-stage companies. Best Lawyers has recognized his work in technology law, and the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory has listed him as a Lawyer to Watch; he has also received two nominations for Top 25 Lawyers in Canada. Allan writes and speaks often on technology and intellectual property law, legal practice management, and legal marketing. He previously chaired the Law Society of Upper Canada's Solo and Small Firm Conference and served as Treasurer and a Director of the Canadian Technology Lawyers Association. He earned his LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2008 and a BA in Business from York University, and was called to the bar in Ontario in 2009. He is also a registered trademark agent.
