Jessica is an associate in the London office of Filion Wakely Thorup Angeletti LLP and has already worked with private and public sector employers in many different industries.

Human rights in the workplace is a theme Jessica keeps returning to. In April 2026 Jessica opened a series for Ontario employers on how discrimination is assessed under the Code and how to spot the situations that trigger human rights duties. A June follow-up turned to the other side of the question: conduct that can look discriminatory but turns out to be lawful, or isn't covered by the Code at all.

Jessica has presented as well as written. On May 28, 2026, Jessica joined Ashley Brown and Catherine Phelps to present a complimentary firm webinar on performance management, from setting expectations and coaching to how a just cause termination differs from one without cause or for wilful misconduct. Jessica has also written on Ontario's proposed overhaul of school board governance and collective bargaining.

Jessica was called to the Ontario bar in 2025, a year after earning a Juris Doctor at Queen's University. Those law school years were full ones: Jessica served as president of the Alternative Dispute Resolution club, did volunteer editing for the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal, was a caseworker at Queen's Legal Aid and argued in moots, the Julius Alexander Isaac Moot among them. Before law, Jessica completed a degree in International Development and Globalization and minored in French as a Second Language.
