About Jenny

Jenny Bogod is a partner whose litigation practice centers on estates, trusts, capacity, and professional negligence. She represents dependants, estates, beneficiaries, and individuals whose capacity is being challenged, handling matters such as challenges to a will's validity, applications to interpret a will, disputes over powers of attorney, claims for dependant support, and guardianship applications. Jenny is designated Preferred Counsel by the Lawyers' Professional Indemnity Company and acts as defence and repair counsel in solicitor negligence matters involving estates, trusts, family law, civil litigation, and real estate. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal, as well as at mediation. She studied at the University of Ottawa and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2015. Jenny writes for publications including Canadian Lawyer 4Students, Advocate Daily, and CanLII Connects, serves as a Member-at-Large for the Advocates' Society's Estates Litigation Practice Group, and is fluent in Russian and Hebrew.
