About Adam

Adam Watters earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Arts at McMaster University, then completed a Juris Doctor at Western University in 2024. After spending several years in public sector roles, he left government work to pursue a legal career focused on making a more direct, positive difference in people's lives. While at Western Law, he served as a research assistant to Professor Claire Houston and as a bilingual research assistant to Assistant Dean Sunil Gurmukh, working with the Canadian Race Relations Foundation, and received several academic honours, including the Janet Stewart Prize for immigration and refugee law, a Law Society of Upper Canada prize for placing in the top 15 of his graduating class, and a Torkin Manes LLP award recognizing both academic achievement and a commitment to helping others. Outside of work, Adam enjoys cycling and spending time with his dog, Nash, and cat, Moses; he can also serve clients in both English and French.
