About Jeffrey

Jeff's practice at TDS in Winnipeg focuses on corporate and commercial law, advising clients on financings, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial agreements. He has particular experience advising mining companies on project development, from due diligence through negotiating option and joint venture agreements, and on mineral interest tenure in Manitoba. He is also a member of the firm's Privacy and Data Protection Practice Group, advising on compliance, privacy impact assessments, and data breach response. Jeff previously worked as a certified NHL Players' Association agent and as senior in-house counsel for a publicly traded company with international operations. He holds an LL.B. from the University of Toronto (1992) and a B.A. from the University of Winnipeg (1988), was called to the Manitoba bar in 1993, and has been recognized in Best Lawyers in Canada for Corporate Law and Natural Resources Law.
