About Allan

Allan Stewart has been in continuous private law practice since 1975, with many years of courtroom experience in criminal, family and civil litigation cases. He has appeared before all levels of trial and appellate courts in Manitoba, the Supreme Court of Canada, and many administrative tribunals, on a wide variety of cases. Allan holds a BV Distinguished rating from Martindale-Hubbell's lawyer peer review for legal ability and ethical standards, and his practice has more recently concentrated on commercial, corporate and estate law. He holds a BA from the University of Winnipeg and an LL.B. from the University of Manitoba, and was called to the Manitoba bar in 1975. He has served on several community boards, including the Steinbach Arts Council and the Manitoba Association of Rights and Liberties, and was president of the Victoria-Lindenwoods Community Club for two years.
