About Dan

Dan is a lawyer and registered trademark agent whose practice focuses on corporate/commercial law, intellectual property and technology law, including drafting IP agreements, due diligence and licensing. He is licensed as a trademark agent by the College of Patent Agents and Trademark Agents, and advises on technology procurement, software and AI licensing, privacy law and advertising compliance. Dan won the Great Canadian Legal Research Challenge (national second place, Manitoba first place) in 2023.
