About Jane

Jane Gooding has been a partner at Filion since 2013, having previously been a partner at another well-known Hamilton firm. Her practice is devoted entirely to advising public and private sector employers on workplace law, representing both unionized and non-union clients that are provincially and federally regulated. On the public side, she works with municipalities, school boards, police services, long-term care homes, and other broader public sector bodies, while her private sector clients range from manufacturers to broadcasters. She handles labour and employment law, human rights, and disability management issues, providing day-to-day advice and representing clients in collective bargaining, interest arbitration, and grievance arbitrations, as well as before tribunals on unfair labour and human rights applications and Occupational Health and Safety Act charges. She was called to the bar in 2006.
