About J.

Jackson's practice focuses on health law litigation, hospital-physician relationships, post-graduate medical education matters, and governance advice for health care organizations across Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories. He represents health care organizations in medical malpractice claims and supports medical leadership and advisory committees under medical staff bylaws, appearing before courts in Alberta, Ontario, Yukon, the Northwest Territories, and Nova Scotia. He lectures at the University of Alberta's Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry on medical malpractice. Called to the Alberta Bar in 2000 (British Columbia 2021, Northwest Territories 2011, Yukon 2025), he was appointed King's Counsel and is a recognized Lexpert Health Sciences leading lawyer.
