Bourgeois maintains a civil litigation practice covering contract disputes, debt collection, insurance defence, personal injury, corporate and mortgage fraud, shareholder disputes, residential construction, foreclosure, and commercial and residential leasing, appearing before all levels of Alberta court. She has served on the Law Society of Alberta's governing council as a bencher since 2024 and previously chaired the board of Legal Aid Alberta from 2013 to 2015. Called to the Alberta Bar in 2010 (Northwest Territories 2021), she was appointed King's Counsel. Outside law, she is a nationally competitive marathon and ultra-marathon runner and a former University of Alberta Pandas hockey player and coach.
