François Paradis is a partner in Osler's Business Law Department and serves as Managing Partner of the firm's Montreal office. He is nationally recognized for his capital markets and cross-border legal work, with a practice centered on Canadian and cross-border capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity transactions. Paradis represents public and private companies across industries, with particular emphasis on technology and life sciences, along with major institutions, investment funds, and investment banks. Over two decades of practice, his work has spanned public offerings, private placements, going-private deals, negotiated and unsolicited mergers and acquisitions, large-scale restructurings, and governance matters. His notable transactions include IPOs for Bausch & Lomb, Groupe Dynamite, Dialogue Health, Alithya, Mindbeacon, and DavidsTea, along with M&A mandates for CAE, National Bank, and Groupe Mondou.
