About Amie
Heil practises wills, estates and trusts, corporate commercial law, and real estate, advising individuals, trustees, and business owners on wills, enduring powers of attorney, personal directives, and trusts, as well as estate administration, probate, and guardianship and trusteeship matters after incapacity. Her corporate work includes incorporations, governance, and share and asset transactions. She has appeared before the Provincial Court, Court of King's Bench, and Court of Appeal of Alberta on estate and corporate litigation, including will validity and life insurance designation disputes. Called to the Alberta Bar in 2006 (British Columbia 2023, Northwest Territories 2025), she holds the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation.
