About Husna

Husna Sarwar focuses her practice on labour law and human rights, advocating for workers at both the federal and provincial levels in English and French. She brings legal knowledge and careful attention to each matter while keeping the people involved in a case central to her approach. While studying at the McGill Faculty of Law, she researched the intersection of labour law and equality rights, clerked at Quebec's Administrative Tribunal, and volunteered with several legal clinics. Before law school, she spent years working with refugee resettlement organizations around Ottawa, an experience that reinforced her commitment to accessible legal systems and to clearly guiding clients through their options.
