About Gregory
Gregory Anthony serves as counsel in McInnes Cooper's St. John's office, where his practice focuses on advising employers on labour and employment matters, including unfair labour practices, certification applications, successor rights and common employer claims. He also handles collective bargaining, injunctions during labour disputes, and grievance and arbitration matters, and advises on wrongful dismissal, occupational health and safety, human rights and workers' compensation across industries such as construction, energy, mining and manufacturing. He has substantial experience negotiating project labour agreements in Newfoundland and Labrador and has appeared before arbitrators, boards and tribunals, the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Federal Court of Canada. Gregory holds an LL.B. and M.B.A. from Dalhousie University and a B.Comm from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador bar in 1991. He has been recognized by Chambers Canada and Best Lawyers Canada for his employment and labour law practice.
