About Siân

Siân Evans is an associate at Stewart McKelvey's St. John's office, maintaining a litigation practice focused on general civil disputes and labour and employment matters. She acts for clients across a range of industries and works on both disputes and decision-making processes for her clients. Before law, she worked in video game development, media, and hospitality, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Media with Distinction from Toronto Metropolitan University's RTA School of Media. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of New Brunswick's Faculty of Law in 2024, where she won the Harrison Shield for Best Oral Advocate in a moot court competition and served as co-president of the Feminist Legal Association. Siân was called to the bar in New Brunswick in 2025 and in Newfoundland and Labrador in 2026.
