About George

George Franklin is a partner in Pink Larkin's litigation department, representing clients before all levels of court in Nova Scotia with a particular interest in complex appeals and public law and constitutional litigation. Called to the bar in both Nova Scotia and Ontario, he articled at the Court of Appeal for Ontario as a law clerk to Associate Chief Justice Hoy and Justices MacPherson, LaForme, and Benotto, and worked as a summer student for a national environmental law organization. He studied a combined honours degree in Human Rights and Law at Carleton University before attending Dalhousie University, where he was a Dean's List student and won several academic awards. He joined the partnership effective January 1, 2026, alongside Mary Rolf. He was called to the Nova Scotia and Ontario bars in 2018.
