About Ashraf

Ashraf Siddiky is a Barrister, Solicitor and Notary Public licensed to practise in Nova Scotia, with about 30 years of legal experience beginning in Bangladesh's common law jurisdiction. He has appeared before courts at every level in Bangladesh, including the Supreme Court, and has been an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh since 1996 and a member of the Dhaka Bar Association since 1993. His practice focuses on immigration law, civil litigation, corporate and commercial matters, and property law. He belongs to the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society, the Canadian Bar Association, the Canadian Immigration Lawyers Association, the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He speaks English and Bengali, with conversational proficiency in Hindi and Urdu.
