About Andrew
Andrew (Andy) Nielsen is a partner at Pink Larkin focusing on the intersection of law, technology, and privacy, representing clients in union-side labour, employment, and professional regulation matters across Atlantic Canada. He appears before the Supreme Courts and Courts of Appeal in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island and practices before labour arbitrators and labour boards throughout the region, serving public and private-sector trade unions and professionals facing disciplinary issues. He represents workers across sectors including marine, healthcare, government, and transportation, and advises on privacy obligations, forensic recovery of electronic records, and responses to search warrants and production orders. He is past President of the Canadian Bar Association's Nova Scotia Labour and Employment Law Section and past Vice President for Nova Scotia of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers. He earned his LL.B. from Queen's University and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2007 and the Prince Edward Island bar in 2013.
