Construction LawChris Robinson, K.C., has over forty years of experience in civil litigation, providing clients with support in construction, complex commercial and insurance disputes, professional malpractice, and product liability claims. He also acts for clients in public law and administrative matters, including taxation and judicial review, and has appeared at all levels of court in Nova Scotia and the Supreme Court of Canada. He frequently leads negotiation and drafting of procurement and construction agreements for major public transportation and infrastructure projects across Canada. He was named the 2020 Lawyer of the Year in Construction Law in Halifax by The Best Lawyers in Canada, where he has been recognized since 2006, and is listed in the Lexpert Canadian Legal Directory and as a Benchmark Canada Provincial Litigation Star. He has lectured in Civil Procedure at Dalhousie's Schulich School of Law and was inducted as a fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers in 2004. He earned his LL.B. from Dalhousie University and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 1978.
