About Gary

Gary Arkin is a partner at Macera & Jarzyna LLP with experience across patents, industrial design, trademarks, copyright, licensing and technology transfer. He has an extensive engineering background in the oil, gas and mineral exploration industries and related technologies. Gary has served as the Canadian editor of the Intellectual Property Law Journal and has been active on IPIC committees, including the Joint Liaison Committee for Patents and the Patent Legislation Committee. He holds an LL.B. and a B.Sc. in Geological Engineering, is a barrister and solicitor, and is a registered patent and trademark agent.
