About Stephen

Stephen Tierney is the founder of Tierney Stauffer LLP. His practice focuses on helping business owners structure new ventures, manage growth, and plan for the eventual sale of their businesses, with advice covering business structure, financing, and succession. As the firm's senior corporate lawyer, he oversees the team that provides business law services to the firm's corporate clients. He also works with business owners, commercial and residential developers, and financial institutions on purchases, sales, mortgages, and mergers and acquisitions. Stephen holds an LL.B. from the University of Ottawa and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the County of Carleton Law Association.
