About Dan

Dan leads Samfiru Tumarkin's Labour and Employment Law practice group in British Columbia from the firm's Vancouver office, focusing on maximizing employee rights. His practice covers wrongful and constructive dismissals, severance negotiations, human rights applications, employment contract disputes, workplace harassment, and discrimination claims. Before practicing law he managed IT call centres for major companies, experience that gives him insight into how employers make termination and compensation decisions. Dan earned his law degree from the University of British Columbia in 2015 and was called to the B.C. bar in 2016, after which he articled at a full-service Vancouver firm and practiced at a plaintiff-side litigation boutique. He is a member of the British Columbia Trial Lawyers Association and has represented clients at all levels of court in the province.
