Amy Thomas is a partner at Macera & Jarzyna LLP with over 20 years of experience in trademark law. She represents clients in opposition proceedings, appeals, expungements and infringement disputes, and helps local and international clients file and prosecute trademark and design applications in Canada. Amy has presented on intellectual property topics at venues including the National Franchise and Business Opportunities Show and the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce, and has published articles in the Lawyer's Monthly, The Lawyers Weekly and other legal publications. She was called to the bar as a barrister and solicitor in 2001, and holds an LL.B. and a B.Arch. in architecture. She is a registered trademark agent.
