Evan Campbell became a partner at Filion in 2022, having spent years before that at a national law firm. He counsels employers in both the private and public sectors on a broad set of workplace matters, from terminations and discipline to human rights complaints, employment contracts, safety and insurance issues, and labour relations within the construction and industrial fields. His client base ranges from large companies to smaller family businesses, and he regularly advises hospitals, school boards, municipalities and universities. Evan often acts as spokesperson at the bargaining table during collective negotiations and helps employers respond to union organizing campaigns and certification applications. He has represented employers at all levels of court across Ontario, including the Court of Appeal, and appears regularly in arbitrations and before employment tribunals. He is a member of the Human Resources Professional Association.
