About Melanie

Melanie Polowin is a partner in the firm's Ottawa office and has practised employment law for more than 30 years. She advises a broad range of private sector Canadian and international employers on all phases of the employment relationship, from recruitment through termination. She assists with the employment aspects of corporate life-cycle events including financings, mergers, acquisitions, and IPOs, and helps clients develop customized contracts, policies, and risk-reduction protocols.
