About Ella

Ella Bedard works to help unions and individual employees enforce their rights on the job. Her labour practice involves representing organized workers across both public- and private-sector workplaces in matters before arbitrators, tribunals, and the courts. Her interest in workers' rights dates back to the 1997 teachers' strikes, when she marched alongside her elementary school teachers. She has also worked for two public-sector unions, holds a labour studies credential from CUNY, and reported on labour issues for the outlet rabble.ca. She attended Osgoode Hall Law School, earning two scholarships for academic achievement, and spent three semesters volunteering with the Workers' Rights team at Parkdale Community Legal Services. Ella summered and articled at Goldblatt Partners before rejoining the firm as an associate in 2019.
