About Ed
Ed Holmes has practised at Ryder Wright since joining in 1995, concentrating on industrial as well as public sector and broader public sector labour relations. He has considerable experience representing unions and their members in grievance arbitrations, certifications and unfair labour practice proceedings, and also appears on behalf of employees before administrative boards and tribunals, including the Human Rights Tribunal, and in professional health disciplinary matters. He holds a BA in Political Science and Labour Studies from York University, an LL.B. and LL.M. in Employment and Labour Relations from Osgoode Hall Law School, and was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1997. He belongs to the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers.
