About Anson

Anson Cai holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz (2019) and a J.D. (2022), both from the University of Toronto, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2023. Before joining Ryder Wright that year, he articled in-house with an education workers' union. His practice involves representing workers before grievance arbitrations, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, and the Ontario College of Teachers. While in law school, he worked as a caseworker at Advocate for Injured Workers and in Downtown Legal Services' Employment Law and Academic Appeals division, and he volunteered with the FCJ Refugee Centre helping immigrants prepare humanitarian and compassionate grounds applications.
