Civil Litigation & Dispute ResolutionCora Madden takes an analytical, practical approach to complex disputes, offering clients strategic advice across a range of industries. Her practice covers debtor/creditor disputes, solicitor negligence, civil fraud, fraudulent conveyances, oppression claims, and bankruptcy and receivership proceedings. She regularly appears before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, including the Commercial List, and Small Claims Court, with both trial and appellate experience. Cora graduated from McGill University's Faculty of Law, trained in both the civil and common law traditions, and received the William Kagan Memorial Prize for achievement in real estate law. She earned a B.A. in Political Science with distinction from Concordia University in 2018 and was called to the bar in 2023. She co-authored a piece on fraudulent conveyances published in The Advocates' Quarterly, and outside work enjoys running, bouldering, and flag football.
