About Jakob

Jakob Bogacki is a litigator who has represented major financial institutions and private corporations in commercial and civil litigation, debtor-creditor disputes, and mortgage enforcement proceedings. Jakob has negotiated settlements, carried out a power of sale, and advocated successfully for clients before both Small Claims Court and the Superior Court of Justice. He earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa. During law school, Jakob contributed to the Repertory of the Practice of United Nations Organs, a UN legal publication analyzing decisions of its principal bodies under the UN Charter's articles. His name appears on the United Nations' website in recognition of his work on Article 51 of the UN Charter.
