About Cheyenne

Cheyenne Reese assists clients with estate and trust planning and related tax matters, with a major focus on cross-border U.S.-Canada transactions and estate planning, including estate, gift and generation-skipping tax issues for clients on both sides of the border. She advises U.S. citizens and green card holders on U.S. tax compliance and expatriation rules, and on the tax consequences of emigration and immigration to Canada. She received her J.D. from the University of Victoria in 2005 and a Master of Law in International Taxation from New York University in 2006, was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2007, and became a Principal at Legacy in 2013. She is an International Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
