About John

John Foster is a civil litigator focusing on commercial transactions, corporate disputes, and wills and estates litigation, representing clients in real estate disputes, shareholder disputes, breach of contract, fraud, negligence, and fiduciary-duty matters, including out-of-country clients and foreign estate and judgment proceedings. He regularly appears in all levels of court in B.C. as well as the Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal, and is active as an executive of the Canadian Bar Association's Civil Litigation Section and a moot judge at the Peter A. Allard School of Law. His cases have been featured by Thomson Reuters (Westlaw) as business-law precedents.
