About Betony
Betony Rowland is a member of Legacy's Estate and Trust Litigation Group, representing clients on complex estate and trust matters including the validity of wills, wills variation claims, contentious estate administration issues, and disputes involving trusts and gifts to adult children. She also assists clients with committeeship applications and other elder law and incapacity proceedings, and has trial experience in the BC Supreme and Provincial Courts, the Federal Court of Canada and the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal. She graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in 2007 and a law degree in 2011, was called to the bar in Nova Scotia in 2012 and in British Columbia in 2016.
