About Silvana

Silvana Facchin is a partner and leader of Richards Buell Sutton's Business Transactions and Business Services Practice Groups, advising individuals, business owners, and private companies on incorporations, reorganizations, acquisitions, dispositions, mergers, and succession planning. She also advises on personal planning matters including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and representation agreements, and her practice covers fishing and maritime companies, professional incorporations, and high net-worth individuals. She holds an LL.B. and a B.Com. (Hons.) from the University of British Columbia, both in 1992, and was called to the bar in 1993. She is a guest lecturer for the Professional Legal Training Course's Corporate Practice module, sits on the Board of Directors of the Association for Corporate Growth, and was recognized by Best Lawyers for Corporate Law from 2020 to 2026.
