About Karan

Karan Banipal is an associate at Apna Law LLP practicing primarily in estate litigation, personal injury, and civil litigation. Born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area, he moved to British Columbia for law school and earned his JD from Thompson Rivers University in 2022, where he was awarded the Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP Prize in Torts Law. He also served four years as a Reservist Infantry Soldier in the Canadian Armed Forces while completing his undergraduate degree. He joined Apna Law LLP in 2023 and has since gained trial experience as both lead and second chair in civil litigation and personal injury matters, appearing before the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia. He volunteers with Access Pro Bono and the South Asian Legal Clinic of BC.
