About Cansu
Cansu Aydemir is an associate lawyer at Green and Spiegel LLP in Toronto, helping individual and corporate clients with business and visitor visas, work permits, electronic travel authorizations, and applications for citizenship and permanent residence. She also handles admissibility issues, including criminal and medical inadmissibility, misrepresentation findings, and applications for criminal rehabilitation, and represents clients in judicial reviews and mandamus applications at the Federal Court as well as spousal sponsorship appeals. She articled at the firm and was called to the Ontario bar in 2023 after graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School. Before law school, she worked as an international news reporter for Turkish state television. She holds an honours BA in History from the University of Toronto and speaks Turkish.
