About Alexandra

Alexandra Cole is a Partner and Corporate Immigration Practice Director at Green and Spiegel LLP in Toronto, certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a specialist in citizenship and immigration law. Her practice centres on helping corporations bring personnel into Canada, covering work permits and exemptions, Labour Market Impact Assessments, business visitor applications, and study and visitor visas, as well as citizenship, permanent residency, family sponsorships, and Express Entry applications. She has also handled NEXUS membership cancellation appeals and disputes with the CBSA over enforcement decisions, and represents clients before the Immigration and Refugee Board and the Federal Court. Alexandra co-authored the book 'Temporary Entry Into the Canadian Labour Market,' published by Emond in 2021. Before joining Green and Spiegel, she worked in the immigration passenger operations branch of the CBSA. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2015 after earning her law degree from Western and a BA in criminal justice and public policy from the University of Guelph.
