About Brittany

Brittany Scott is an Associate at MacIsaac & Company who is from Thebacha (Fort Smith), Northwest Territories. She holds a bachelor's degree in Law and Society from the University of Calgary and completed a joint Canadian Common Law and Indigenous Legal Orders (JD/JID) degree at the University of Victoria in 2023, during which she worked with the Shuswap Nation Tribal Council and the Aboriginal Coalition to End Homelessness. She was called to the British Columbia Bar in September 2024, after articling at MacIsaac & Company following her 2023 graduation. Her practice covers human rights law, personal injury, employment law, and general civil litigation, with a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive approach that she describes as central to her work. She volunteered with the Victoria Sexual Assault Centre through Pro Bono Students Canada.
