About Karen

Karen Orr practises civil litigation and administrative law, with an emphasis on occupiers' liability, health law, personal injury, employment law, and human rights law. She has appeared before the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia, the BC Human Rights Tribunal, various tribunals, and at a coroner's inquest. Orr earned a B.A. from the University of British Columbia (2011) and a J.D. from the University of Victoria (2014), and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2015 and the Yukon bar in 2017. She has been with Carfra Lawton since 2016 and has represented clients in several BC Human Rights Tribunal decisions.
