Bankruptcy & InsolvencyColin was born and raised on a grain and livestock farm in Saskatchewan and became a union activist with the United Steelworkers while working at a potash mine. He earned his commerce and law degrees at the University of Saskatchewan and an LLM at Osgoode Hall Law School, writing his thesis on occupational health and safety regulation in the forestry sector. As a partner at Victory Square, he represents clients before labour, employment, and other administrative tribunals and maintains a civil litigation practice covering bankruptcy, class actions, and wrongful dismissal, including a case that recognized cooperative associations receive constitutional protection under the Charter's freedom of association. He teaches labour law at the Peter A. Allard School of Law.
