About Julia

Julia Roos maintains a general civil litigation practice focused on commercial and administrative law, appearing before all levels of court in British Columbia, the Federal Court, and the Federal Court of Appeal. She received her JD from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops in 2015, summered and articled at Hunter Litigation Chambers, and clerked for Justice Robert Barnes of the Federal Court before returning to the firm in 2017. She has worked on judicial reviews, appeals, tribunal hearings, a commission of inquiry, and commercial trials for clients ranging from individuals to major corporations, and provides pro bono family law services through Access Pro Bono. She has been recognized as a Future Star by Benchmark Litigation and in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Canada since 2022.
